This project titled “Excavations of Emptiness” is to remove as much material as possible from the marble; to create the possibility, the light can penetrate through it. Placing the piece of marble (the final work), between the skin of the body and the light that passes through one gets an image of transparency that interacts body and marble. So, the body becomes an extension of the marble that does not exist one without the other.
